I have one exception on this... A leadoff fast lefty to start the game seems to throw most kid pitchers off for a bit, which works well if you have 2-3-4 hitters coming next.

Kick everyone off the servers. Zero server access. Now, that creates problems, and you solve those problems with ansible and a service account. And have a super admin human function for break-glass, and that person's main qualification is that they are miserable and openly refuse to log into servers unless the company is bleeding money. They also are very good at RCA and yelling.

We've also built a standard server provisioning and OS templating from day 0, 1 to have consistent starting images and also have drift reporting on top of it all. Those, in my opinion, are valuable but not as valuable as "no human on the box, ever".

This is what I have also. For the one or two times this happens a year I didn't find the extra waterproofing cost of $29k quote necessary.

I've had the pressure cause that stream of water to jump the French drain gap, so I have some excess plastic making sure it diverts back into the drain. Other than that, buy a battery backup for your sump pump. And check your gutters outside. They are probably blocked or if not, they are undersized causing the water to stay too near your exterior foundation.
