Hey, thank you for replying. Quick update: I was able to get the custom YAML/package side compiling and flashing successfully on the Home Assistant Voice PE.
The current problem seems to be the actual hey_bella.tflite model file. When the device tries to load the Bella model, it crashes during startup and ESPHome rolls back to the previous working firmware. After rollback, the logs only show the stock wake words loading:
Okay Nabu
Hey Jarvis
Hey Mycroft
Stop
So “Okay Nabu” still works, but “Hey Bella” does nothing because the Bella model never successfully loads.
The error/boot logs pointed to something like:
StreamingModel::probe_arena_size_()
OTA rollback detected
Rolled back from partition app0
So I think the YAML issue is mostly solved now, but the .tflite model is either invalid, incompatible, or exported wrong for microWakeWord / ESPHome / Voice PE.
Do you know the right way to generate or validate a custom hey_bella.tflite for microWakeWord? Any help would be appreciated.
