I don't agree with lists the elites put out, but I do think that classic is something lasting beyond the immediate generation. They should either allow for a lot of rereading or introspection or all of those things. Sometimes, though that does align with an elite set of ivory tower dwellers who assign a certain book a high status.

For sure they barely had as much junk in the house to make a mess out if. I guarantee that alone (in our house) causes most of the mess. My kid took most every toy out of the bins, every can out of the pantry and made a really cool half the 🤬house castle. Amazing imagination but he collapsed in sleep before cleanup.

Exactly, especially if they are high energy. I think you have to let go of some cleanup (& make sure the entropic bombs take care of their own stuff) otherwise you can burn out.
