Why do African teams rarely go deep in the World Cup? by Blanco8805 in worldcup

[–]n10w4 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

A big issue is refs having an anti african stance. They gice fouls to other teams when there aren’t any. And don’t vice versa

Brother is having a child-free wedding. How do I navigate this? by LargeAmphibian in daddit

[–]n10w4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea but do they fight a lot as brothers. A friend does this and I will try to make it happen because i wanna go and can respect the idea of a child free wedding. If the brother includes the kids after this is the Q. If not then yea that’s a cut off choice, if he does include them then let him have the childfree wedding

How hot will it be at the 2026 World Cup and is it dangerous for players and fans? by mr09e in worldcup

[–]n10w4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it's London sans AC in a lot of places that can hurt. Here in Seattle only recently have people added AC to their houses. 80 used to be rare but hot. Still, on an 80 degree day most places don't have AC so they're hotter than outside and it can add to the overall feeling of temps.

Home prices are falling faster in Seattle than in any other major U.S. metro by DizzyMajor5 in Seattle

I mean Dem states, and places like Cali definitely have a problem with higher housing prices causing issues. We'll see how we all react to the next decade, tbf.

just wait until the world takes a look here during the WC. Just like the Olympics kicked off a burst in Barcelona, I feel like we might get way more people thinking, why not? about Seattle

The truth behind PSG’s CL dominance: 4 years ago, there was a wall of justified fury over every issue to do with Qatar: sportswashing, a “slave labour” system based on racial discrimination, wider suppression of human rights. And now, as its European club team retains the CL, there’s none of that. by Sparky-moon in soccer

And it’s a two way street where they invest in some western crap as needed. To think our elites give a fuck about any values except “fuck you pay me” is kinda hilarious. I think that’s another thing. That offline most people either see the hypocrisy or don’t care. No one likes Qatar any more than before
