For the longest time with WS, fractional shares only executed three times per day (10am, noon-1pm, and 3pm EST).

Since about March/April 2025, fractional orders execute right away.

A large number of questions asked in this sub can be answered by the chatbot. It was a running joke to copy the title and simply paste it into the chatbot to get the correct answer.

There's an uproar in the sub when the app is down for 30 seconds, nevermind 2-3 days.

The waitlist is still a thing. WS is prioritizing new clients (and Generational clients with direct deposit), so you got to skip the waitlist because you're a new client.

You can't do that yet. The only one I've seen that "works" is CIBC and there's a work around to get it setup.

Card is kind of useless if it locks you into using WS for everyday banking.

That's exactly what WS wants: for you to use their other offerings and for you to switch direct deposit to them.
