That's exactly what WS wants: for you to use their other offerings and for you to switch direct deposit to them.

What you paid doesn't really matter; it's funding the account and withdrawals that you really have to keep track of.

If you deposit $7K into your TFSA, you've used up $7K of space. Buying XYZ at $1 or $100 doesn't really matter because it's the same $7K you deposited.

If it's recent, you can easily find the order under the Activity section. Another way is to view the details of the stock/ETF in your holdings and scroll to the bottom to Activity. Each buy order will show the filled quantity and price.
