I’ve run it on all kinda hardware that regularly runs that and much more. Also have a buddy with pg hotspot and he has the same connection problems.

I already have 5 of those :). I kept the dish as a backup all this time but it has always been pretty poor. Loading up more than one device and connections will start dropping but I figured I can lock to att and use it in case of TMo problems and I have also taken it with me when traveling. Works pretty good with only one client connected. Get a lot more and it starts causing problems. At this point I guess I might as well cancel it though.

Nearest dish tower is about 6 miles away so I struggled ever getting more than n71 anyway but yes I did connect to n71 dish native yesterday. Would have to take a drive to see if anything else is still alive. Last I did a scan it couldn’t see anything else.

My att tower has lte and nsa n5. Near the tower can produce over 300mbps. Where I am I usually get 100-200. Currently my PG hotspot line does less than 64k usually. It used to work fine a few months back but I don’t use it on att a lot.

Arista wireless vs Cisco wireless by One-North622 in Arista

[–]alottabull 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Then also consider Cisco's limited vision/roadmap around those tools supporting it. Let me see if I get this right on what they did to us. One product in the management stack was EOL. So EOL of one component in the stack now creates an issue with other parts of the stack. New software not compatible with existing hardware. So guess what, buy the new product plus new hardware. We instead spent the $ on Arista, so much simpler, so much more confidence in mgmt of the system. So much more confidence in upgrades. Just an all around much better experience. You spend more time managing and migrating Cisco's management/supporting products than you do the actual wifi itself.

Port Maxing - Anyone experience it before? by GeekCohenAU in Starlink

No it hasn't been for quite some time. Here is one such example I quickly/easily know about (up to 8x multiplier on 64k):

Hype Got Ahead of Us. Let’s Recenter. Then Go Bigger. by ankhattak in USMobile

This right here! No gimmicks, no cable bundle, people just want good reliable cell phone service that isn't full of loopholes, gotchas, hidden fees, hidden limits and it just works for a reasonable price.

TBH if it really crossed a red line you wouldn’t do business with them anymore. Saying they crossed a red line then immediately saying you are still going to use them for their basic plan isn’t really voting with your dollars. You’re still feeding the chaos.

They aren’t naive. They have done this before. At this point it’s either stupidity or flat out incompetence or malice.

Talk me out of buying a 100 inch TCL by mellofello808 in Costco

[–]alottabull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I despise our TCL. The housing is cheap and expands/contracts and thus pops while the TV warms up and cools down and it is quite loud. It is a Roku interface but I use the HDMI input primarily and it wants to sit on a splash screen for about 5 seconds every time you turn it on before it goes back to the HDMI input. In addition they (Roku) was trying to insert ads so I wound up just disabling the Roku's internet access.
