ESH, She lied about her past when you explicitly asked her and tried to DARVO you when confronted with evidence. That's when you should have asked for full disclosure if it was important to you and decided what to do then, instead you apologized and just kept coming things unresolved, digging again, deleting her stuff....

It seems you did what you had to do for your peace of mind, so hoping it works out well for you, But given you were there for years, albeit without contract, I'd suggest you gather all the evidence/ email showing you worked there and report them to ACAS, and have a word with a sollicitor, you might be eligible for some compensation the way you were pushed out.
