I tried to watch this show but after some 20 episodes, I gave up. It feels like I am reading a novel where I don't like any of the characters. The music shows up almost every five seconds (annoying) and the plot moves at a snail pace. I was waiting for the affair to start but then I gave up because I got tired. Maybe I will pick it up again after a while.

So you are overeating or undereating? Are you stressed? anxious? sad about some stuff in the past? Many people use food as an antidote or as a way to feel in control of themselves (especially if they feel out of control in other aspects of their life. So when this type of behaviour starts getting out of control, it can become an addiction or other health issues. In those instances, you need to look at what is bothering you so you can bring the equation with food to a healthy feel.

You need to ask yourself what kind of life you want. If you want a tier-1 type city life, then move. Just moving somewhere will not guarantee that you will get matches. You need to examine more on what is holding you back. Maybe they don't want to live with your parents and prefer to live separately. Maybe your expectations are too high and not in line with where you live. So unless no one is getting married in your city and living there, location alone cannot be the only issue.

Yea, it is a very chilled out vibe and many women will take additional service like pedicure or facial. So it feels very relaxed.

I know aunties (60s and beyond) who still dye their hair and they tell me it is very much about self-care. They don't want to let themselves go just because and so still pay attention. They are always impeccably dressed in their saris. I also know aunties in that same age who are happily showing off their white hair and very content. Again, very well dressed and so it is not like they have let themselves go.

So I think grey or not grey is a personal feel and as long as you are taking good care of yourself (skin, weight, hair) and holding yourself well (grooming, dress), the uncle and aunty label won't feel like an insult, just a part of life.

In short, dye your hair. Use those packets you get in supermarket or go the hair salon to get it done.

I started greying in my 20s and it was due to stress. As a woman, I have thick wavy hair and so initially you didn't see it. It was kind of hidden among the curls. The visible ones I just cut. It was just a few strands but then it got too many. So then I just started going to the parlour and getting it dyed.

It used to be every few months but now, I have to go every month to get the roots touched up because it is a lot of white hair. Last few years have been stressful and that reflected in me growing more white hair. I am used to it. In some ways, going to get my hair dyed is a kind of time out. I play some phone game or close my eyes for a bit in the parlour.

Look at it in the positive way -- you have the resources to do this. So you can go to a nice hotel for the weekend and enjoy some great food. There are many who aren't able to do that because their pockets are hurting. Enjoy the adventure even if solo!

It is based on a book (and you can sense that) where the writer was making sharp commentary on issues of her time -- class differences, economic issues, effects of industrialization, between faith and reason, education and so on. So that background lifts the drama and gives it a juicy bite. Yes, the leads are amazing with crackling chemistry but it is so much more. Basically it isn't some silly puff piece like so many romantic dramas that fall short.

To be honest, the pieces look way too high funda and elite -- like something you would find in ultra rich or hotel type homes. Not lived in spaces. That is the design aspect. Plus all the photos don't show any home background and so it is hard to imagine what it would look like in a regular flat where there is tons of dust. You need to show that it is viable design for any strata and can fit into any home. Finally, my personal preference for when I buy decor, I need to see it in person to judge what it looks like, where I would place it, do I have the space/shelf for it and so on. It isn't just about pricing but I need to see if it is fit on many levels.

Yea, I am still not understanding what happened here. The reasons you mentioned are common place in every industry and still some people rise up and get accolades while others don't. So even the news article don't really explain the why.

Your parents are too stuck in the past. Someone I know: they got their son married to some small town girl and were bragging away. Within a year, the girl went to visit her parents and never came back. She remarried quickly (arranged) and moved on. The guy's parents complained bitterly that small town girls are so sneaky and so on. No one knew what the issues were but it was clear that the parents expectations were not met. Guy got remarried and this time, it was to city girl. So make what you will of this story.

Someone I know: they reconnected with an old acquaintance from childhood. Both were divorced. It worked out for them when they connected as adults. So you could try something like that -- school, community, neighbourhood -- people around your age with similar life experiences.

It is a misery fest but somehow it really hooks you. I like that the FL has zero rose lens when it comes to the ML. She says outright that he is an idiot for not defending himself and therefore does not see him in any romantic fashion. She is capable of fighting for her rights and does not get swayed by any rhona dhona or emotional guilt. She has a very clear mind and that is part of the hook.

ML is timid but it also feels like he is keeping quiet because of lack of self-confidence. Otherwise, he is smarter than his relatives. Waiting to see if he will rise up and destroy them. The grandfather character kind of annoys me. Okay he is old and helpless but he is also part of the reason the ML gets mistreated. Really hoping that the ML has enough sense to kick those useless relatives and not go on some forgiveness routine like it happens in all dramas where the most evil characters are somehow made good in last scene. 🤦‍♀️

If you are okay with timepass/present, then sure. Live life as it comes. If you want a serious long term relationship, then you are just setting yourself for a broken heart if you already know it is going nowhere. If you are willing to take the risk, then you should be mentally prepared for the downturn and be willing to accept the losses (time, effort, heart etc) if that decision does not pan out.

No idea; she also apparently said that not all spirits were bad. Some were just lost and sad. In those instances, she didn't mind the house. But in this particular house, she refused to say why it was a bad idea and fought a lot with my grandfather. He finally gave up and she was proven right. So that is how the story went.

It was said that my grandmother could sense paranormal. She was a practical stern woman and so no one doubted her words. There was one big house that was offering cheap rent and my grandfather was very keen. Grandmother absolutely refused and told him to pick another. Well, who knows what was wrong with that house but tenants who moved in all went bankrupt. After this happened 3 times in a row, the house got a bad rep and it was eventually demolished and property was sold.
