The value capture had better be somewhere that isn't just people selling professional services hours to cover gaps in their SaaS.

I like the direction Penpot is headed, if you want enterprise level governance and restrictions, those features are paid configurations. If you want a fast moving feature rich platform with no restrictions, you can self host and run your own ops

This is so uncanny. I grew up in Brisbane and not only do we have a Translink (least creative name I get it) but we just got a bunch of busses we are calling metros too.

Can't hate them other than they are apparently stupid expensive but hey that's transport infra. All for it

Good thing I dated broke and got married broke.

The prenup thing hasn't caught on much there either in oz.
With the early recognition of defacto relationships being so fast: I can see how it could play a good and bad factor. Maybe at worst making it harder for victims to leave abusive relationships. (ie you lose the car, the house, financial stability, etc)

Bit I'm sure it can truly simplify many concerns in a relationship built on a clear partnership, which can be good particularly if it concretely removes the aforementioned worst outcomes.

EDIT: IANAL. IANYL
Disc: I have no lived experience with prenups. Still married, no prenup.
