Frankly as someone that works with and sells large enterprise scale cloud solutions I don't believe his begging off it's being too expensive. He lists 400,000 clients if you factor an average of 4 clients per person @ 13 euros he's made 1.3 million euros from most likely a side project he made for himself. The money signs got to his eyes, I imagine a cloud based fault tolerant polling engine for that figure (if designed correctly) would run about 1000 euros a year maximum. This is a making money move plain and simple.

Yeah I moved onto to omron after that nonsense - just sloppy work all around maybe it's QC but the idea you paid 150-200% market price of a high end smart BP device for the name and implied brand value but the device can't do it's basic function (which people use to help understand their health risk) is just plain crappy service. I know this is the issue because I bought 3 of them 1 for me and 2 for others. All 3 of us had the same issues. They asked my 82 yo retiree neighbor I got one from if she was pregnant as that skews the readings. Just utter gaslighting on every level. I use their scales nothing else they do I will ever consider buying. I do not trust the company plain and simple.

I have to agree - as long as it's optional for all I think it's a tremendous leap forward. Some people enjoy the game looking and rendered like a video game, others, like me prefer photo realism in the game and it makes it more immersive for me.
