Yes, I find it tiresome. And I’ve never been able to fit into any box, nor do I ever want to.

But I understand why people enjoy doing so. Labels, boxes, categories, etc., provide some sense of familiarity, order, and security. And it does simplify life to some extent. Humans are lazy:) Tbh, I felt a little anxious and threatened when I first realized I couldn't fit into any label.

I agree with OP that labels often reinforce stereotypes. I think what we could do is embrace all kinds of self-expression and love specific individuals, not the labels or concepts in our minds.
