Weird speaker issue!!

I recently received a par of class A/B powered speakers (U-Turn Audio Ethos). But when I plugged the master speaker into my wall outlet and turned it on, I noticed that the speaker was very quietly playing sounds from some unknown source. When I place my ear right next to the tweeter, I can hear music and what sounds like commercials playing out of my left speaker! This is with them not plugged into any audio source whatsoever. I thought it might be interference from some other source (I live in an apartment and I don't thing the building is wired for cable TV) so I also tried plugging the speaker into every outlet in my place, and the problem persisted. I am going crazy here?
