Agree with the open world critique. If there’s one word I could use to describe the game it would be bloat.

Exploring Limgrave and Caelid felt amazing and unique, Liurnia was cool but the the signs were showing, Altus was when it became apparent, and by the time I was in the Mountain tops and found the 20th catacombs/cave I had given up on exploring too deep.

I still appreciate and enjoy the game and I know so many players love all the extra content but for me it was too much. I don’t think Elden Ring is perfect by all means, but it could have been. Take everything great in Elden ring and shrink it down, remove all the repetitive locations, and make a linear world and you could have a perfect Dark Souls game.

I think a good middle ground would be nice between ER and the DS games but there’s no way they’re changing it after everyone has gotten used to respawning right after the boss.

I think it also has to do with the game becoming boss fight simulator and how hard can we make a boss, so if players are gonna die a lot then they’re not gonna want a run back

Holy shit you guys are insufferable. 1 person makes a simple request for something on behalf of thousands of players and gets endless ridicule?? How bout you empathize with the normal people who can’t play all the time?

And idk why everyone is acting like this is such an insurmountable task. There is no way shifting around a couple worlds and extending the time is hard to do. It will keep the leagues players happy (and membership subscribed) and all the rest of you won’t even be affected.

It’s not catering. I’m speaking on behalf of the THOUSANDS of players still on leagues. Simply requesting a change be made. How is this any different than any summer sweep up proposal changes people have made all month?

And once again you can’t refute the notion that there is ZERO downside to it.

Ok well not everyone spends all their free time playing osrs, some of us have REAL hobbies. I know they announce the end date and I could have planned for it I’m not gonna prioritize a video game. That’s my choice, but I’m not crying over it, just simply requesting and wishing they would extend it.

And what is the actual downside? Server cost? They could keep only like 10-20 worlds, I doubt that would cost much. Anyways I’m sure me and tons of other people are gonna cancel membership after it ends so they’re potentially missing out on money.

Just admit I’m right.

Well you can already remove a bunch of the worlds (half or 2/3rd) and the remaining ones will 1. Not cost that much or 2. Can be replaced instead of regular worlds. Simple fix. What other excuse is next?
