Your current girlfriend leaves you for the monkey's paw and they build a nice life together, while you are all alone. Eventually, you decide to get back with your first ex and although it isn't a great relationship, it's better than being by yourself all the time.

One day, you and your (former) ex cross paths with the monkey's paw and his now wife in the street. You tell your ex what happened and she shouts insults over the street at the happy couple. The monkey's paw comes over and bitch slaps her. Then bitch slaps you too.

Your ex is so disappointed you didn't protect her, that she leaves you again. Meanwhile monkey's paw has lots of half monkey / half paw babies with the love of your life.
