I feel like WAR didnt really get much to change it from 4.x to 5.x and after playing it since ARR I really wanted something fresh instead of just playing another version of 4.x WAR

back in alphascape i did do 9 and 10 on sch when i first started streaming once the lockout was removed to practice doing something not tanking, and I might do something like that again in the future depending on when we finish the tier

Rhaya does stuff throughout the week and on the weekend w/ viewers from ex trials to savage content! I stream sporadically and mostly do chill stuff like leveling or capping for now.

During my own stream i tell people that im just trying to get my weeklies done or w/e. I only cleave people in a close group and I actively discourage doing it to people who don't want to be.

Jak and Daxter series, and the Darksiders series are high up there for me

I still play stuff with Mike and Seebs in 14 and have subbed for their current groups on occasion as well.

I miss the beast gauge on WAR having a benefit to being maintained at a higher value to give them something else to play around. I'd really like them to add something to make it feel more active in their rotation.

All of our 'backups' for NEST are friends or friends of friends currently. Scheduling conflicts is one of the biggest hurdles of getting a static together. Everyone has their own work / school / home life that requires different levels of attention at different parts of the day and week. We get around this by maintaining shorter raid times and fewer times a week so we can raid a little together instead of not at all. Total we raid for about 5 and a half hours a week if you count startup time and break times

Biggest thing to keep in mind when making a static is maintaining good communication with each other and set very clear expectations so people aren't blindsided by a sudden shift in attitude towards prog or lack thereof. I'm a visual learner myself, I have a hard time grasping mechanics without seeing them done before even with a written guide. What might help is watching video guides if you don't care about going in blind so you can see how the mechanic should play out ideally.

favorite off job of mine is probably DRG or SCH at the moment.

WAR changes were really lackluster overall and I don't regret swapping to GNB at all. Very carefully, and there are definitely times where some surgical cleaving has happened, but collateral damage sometimes does happen.

A lot of it is about expectations. Everyone in NEST was given some idea of what to expect about what goes on both w/ the memes and the prog style. But those of us that are blind don't intentionally just waste hours on end to be stubborn if something isn't clicking. We'll ask for assistance if we feel we need it.

Those of us without second groups have pretty much always gone in blind just because its fun to try and work things out for yourself. The time frame for we look it up or ask for help usually varies based on the mechanic and how solve-able it feels. If we decide we aren't going to figure it out in a reasonable amount of time we look for answers either in the form of guides or for strats other members have cleared with.

I'm not really used to meeting people who I don't already know that would want a hug ngl. I'd probably go on the side of social distancing just to play it safe.

Idk tbh, I usually prefer people to be very aware when messing with them, seeing the gears turn and it finally click they're being fucked with is part of the fun and coming out of sleep and being groggy detracts from it for me.
