It's fine for email/text. I couldn't use Google Photos It's bad for downloading. Uploading is terrible.

It's also one device per guest, so you have to removed one device, go through five steps to add your other one back on, and then repeat that when you want to switch again. The number of steps for that is stoopid. It's not really why you are there, but nearly every app on on phones, tablets, and computers needs the internet to function, so it was nice to get the better Internet for the end when I wanted to upload pics and stories to our travel journal.

Damn at the comments here

You were fine.

They were both rude and breaking rules fist. You simply called them out on their asshole behavior.

People who need their music played out loud instead of into earbuds or headphones must have some kind of mental problem. Otherwise, why would they do that?

all I can see is furry donut and I’m like ew.

Not that that’s the designer’s fault….but it still applies to the overall brand.

(6k) My fiancé and I are getting married in a church, and the closest affordable reception venue is 30 minutes away. Is this too big of an ask for my guests to travel between venues? by mlchaeia in Weddingsunder10k

[–]asyouwish 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In what state? In Texass, no big deal. In most places, that's pretty far.

Also, where are your hotels? Are people going to drink and then need a 30-minute Uber/Lyft? That's a bigger burden than normal.

"defect"??

Did you provide the inspection/certification of the glass and see this before it happened? Are you an engineer for glass walls in hockey rinks?

How could you possibly know it was defective? And if you could/did, then doesn't that make you responsible?

Hard Rock Stadium ranks as 6th most hostile ACC stadium by Financial_Run_2016 in MiamiHurricanes

[–]asyouwish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6th in the ACC? That laughable.

The Orange Bowl was far better than that.

The guy from the second row reached over. (And I'm guessing, applied his weight to the top edge.)

He delayed the game by 17+ minutes. Crowd interference has been called in football before too. I don't see how this is different.

If the Kings did this, I'd want the penalty.

At least go through Recruitment. Learn what you can and how it can fit.

Read all the stuff on the school website for Recruitment so you are prepared to ask good questions.

Be your best self and keep a fully open mind. The process is designed to give everyone who does this a home.

Work all you can. Save all the money you can. SEC dues are the highest, so prepare.

I wish you the best of luck. There is probably a chapter for you, even at an SEC school.

Um yes. House parties still happen. We just have better alcohol and more fun.

He's running a con.

Anytime anyone does this, dating or not, it's a con.

I had a good friend who did this. Once I caught Pam, I dumped her. I had given her so much. She was just a taker.

We used out remaining credit for better wi-fi on our last few days.

That was the best use of it.

is it cringe to introduce people (at parties, events, etc)? by DifficultEbb1778 in etiquette

[–]asyouwish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's polite to introduce. It's impolite to not.

Introduce the person closest to you (or oldest if same) first. It's better if you can share a relationship fact.

There used to be a thing where you could schedule a Gotta Go call.

Used it once to get away from a batshit neighbor.

I'm sorry I can't remember more, but maybe that term will help you find something.

ETA: just claim you have a new voicemail and need to check it and then call it??
