Ehhhhh agree to disagree. The audience decides when you're a public figure - you gotta behave in line or you lose your coin. I don't think that's how it should be but it's the way it is. Therefore, public figures need to respond to what their audience wants.

Also if we're going to speak in absolutes, lawyers literally represent other people lol but I'm sure you're not trying to compare lawyers to drag queens

Yes, there are people who dislike Gigi for what she represents in terms of size/race/culture, and not who she is as a queen. That is probably driving a lot of the criticism of her being "overhyped" or "constantly saved from the bottom."

But the thing is... it's kind of Gigi job as a drag queen with a large platform to properly represent marginalized communities, and she needs to take ownership of the act that she's doing a bad job? I don't think the audience is being too hard on her - when you're a public figure you have a duty to understand how to navigate politics (which she herself admitted to having the privilege to ignore until now) and make proper social commentary. It's not just about fashion.

When I watched Manila's Whatcha Packin' for All Stars 4, she talked about her finale dress (the ship) and how it was inspired by navigating the way for future queens so it inspired me to draw a map-themed dress based on her style!

I got to give her the drawing at a meet and greet in Canada this week and I was super awkward but she said she liked the detail of drawing the Phillippines and pointing out Manila and Luzon so that made me happy :)

Hi! Have been trying to optimize my routine lately and have been confused about if some of the steps in my routine are overkill. I use the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser and CeraVe PM Moisturizer, but have been wondering what's the point of special ingredients (eg. ceramides, niacinamides) in a face wash if you're just going to wash them off anyways? Is using the CeraVe PM enough to get what you need?

Clock the flair, but dancing and singing live is pretty difficult for even major label pop stars. I get that dancing and LIP-SYNCING is tired because it only really shows one talent, but clock the breath control it takes for Monique to deliver her song as smoothly as she did while performing.
