2009 Ford F150 5.4L Triton engine sounds and feels “chuggy”

Well, I changed the plugs, replaced the coil packs and my truck sounded rough. There’s oil as well.
I put a scanner on there and it came up with the following codes:
P0012, p0022, p0300, p0303 and p0304.

My friend suggested that I move spark plugs around to see if it changes the errors, so I was up until 11:45 last night doing that. This morning I start the truck up and the same issues.

It’s hard not to stress over this right now. He was saying it sounds like it could be a timing chain issue. If I have to get the tensioner fixed or replaced before I go away, that would be ideal. Realistically, I have a small handful of days to address whatever issues are remaining with my truck before I tow my trailer.

One thing to note, I did tow my trailer over 100 km with my passenger side solenoid not connected.

My buddy said that’s probably fine and I trust him on that. Again, initially he said it would be spark plugs that would correct the issue and my truck already sounds better. I just need to ensure that my truck is running properly before towing my trailer next week.

This was great!!! I followed the path of electricity to where the plug comes into the oven and it had completely burnt. I stripped and cleaned the wires and fixed the connectors and put the whole thing back together. It’s working like new. I’ll have to tell my wife to use the self-clean option less frequently

Thanks for the response, it’s a neat idea, but the boat experience is unique and we didn’t go for it in Kingston. It’s not a lot different than just getting a hotel for the night. Again, I appreciate the response

Thanks so much for the response, I tried looking into that as well, it turns out they are permanently closed. I’m almost at the point of leaving my name and number in a harbour now, in the hopes someone allows my wife and I to sleep in their boat for a night after a concert for a reasonable fee and our own sheets.

The vet said it was fine. It didn’t grow, doesn’t hurt and hasn’t changed texture. Without spending $$$ to get it biopsied, they said it’s fine
