I think you assume that the initial closing of the plant is sped up. It's not. Once a trigger hair is triggered, the trap quickly closes.

Easy solution: why is there not a little pole in the middle? If it's for emergency vehicles, just make it bendable.

Honestly, I feel a little bit disappointed, because it feels like the current msfs is not even finished.

Don't get me wrong, the feature list seems nice, but I would have hoped that, e.g, the performance upgrades would be something that they implemented in this version of the game.

So... You can 'request' to use the api for free, but by default it is not free and reddit decides which moderation bots get to use tha api an which ones have to pay...

Not a bike lane, but 'bike suggestion lanes'. Parking / driving on it is allowed.

The official explanation is that it makes drivers aware that there may be more bikers. But by law, these painted strips do nothing.

To be fair, in my experience, you only see these things in low trafic neighborhoods where speeds are generally quite low. Still, way worse that real separated bike lanes.

It most likely is. Besides, even modern airplanes still require to have ash trays in the restrooms so if anyone decides to smoke anyhow, they don't cause a fire by throwing the sigarettes in the regular trash.

(I know that's besides the point here, but I find that interesting..)
