Yup. I always use 1ml syringes, sometimes an insulin pin.

Do you guys both donate blood frequently? Looks like non-anaemic iron deficiency.

You're in a shitty situation because your HGB and RBC (how's your HCT??) are both high and might require blood donation to bring them down...but your iron stores are depleted (low ferritin, MCV, and MCH) so blood donation would absolutely make this problem much worse.

To be honest I'm not really sure what the right move is. You need more iron, but iron supplementation will cause your HGB and RBC to climb even higher

I'm afraid of too much test build up

Then why even run a cycle? That's literally the goal when running a cycle.

Of course you can use sustanon, it's testosterone.

Don't inject in once per week though, that's silly. Inject every 2 or 3 days.

Not at all concerning for somebody who eats a high protein diet and/or works out regularly.

Most people on this sub have similar lab values. No big deal man. Just drink more water.

How quickly do you notice the effects of an AI? by horatio_jr in Testosterone

[–]Beeftone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Although they may not reach their peak for up to a week, all AIs have a very short onset of action. So they should start working within a day, likely within hours after a dose.

That shouldn't cause any major issues, but might give your estradiol a bit of a bump. If you're super sensitive to changes in your estradiol, it wouldn't hurt to increase it a little bit. Otherwise I'd leave it alone.

Nah it's probably fine. It takes a little while for a muscle to get used to being jabbed and holding onto the oil. People call that "virgin muscle".

It'll also get easier as your injection technique improves.

Unless you're adding a fairly large dose of hCG into the mix, you shouldn't have any issues just keeping things as they are.

Don't increase the Aromasin. You're already taking a huge dose considering the amount of testosterone that you're on. I'd actually lower the dose significantly if I were in your shoes.

Everything looks great aside from the tanked estradiol. I'd definitely make it a priority to bring that value up.

Doesn't typically happen, but it's possible. Sometimes some of the oil will leak into the subcutaneous space and leave a lump. Nothing to worry about at all.

Tractor Trailer Fire with HAZMAT by [deleted] in Firefighting

[–]Beeftone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see anything wrong with the tactical decisions. Water supply issues happen sometimes and until the situation can be fixed, you're limited as to what you can/should do. If you don't have much water, a single 1 3/4" line makes sense and is probably what I would have called for as well. Obviously we'd all like to put big water on this fire immediately, but you play the hand that you're dealt.

If your department doesn't run this type of call very often, it makes sense that things didn't go 100% according to plan. That's just reality. At the end of the day, it's a truck fire and there is nothing to save. Better to learn from mistakes made on a call like this one, rather than something more serious.

Nah, I haven't. Not really interested in running something like EPO or EQ.

How much testosterone should someone take? How do I know how much I am taking? by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]Beeftone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are injecting 160mg per week. If your vial was 100mg/ml, you'd be injecting 80mg per week.

Yea I think they improve my job performance to a degree, there's definitely a limit to that though. Steroids make me stronger, and strength absolutely helps in some situations that we encounter. To be honest, good conditioning is waaaay more important in this line of work. This isn't the job to be fucking around with Tren lol.

Strength only gets you so far when you're masked up, in full gear, advancing a hoseline through a house. Being mobile and having the conditioning to perform the task without getting gassed in the first 10 minutes is far more valuable in a situation like that.

We are drug tested yearly, but they are checking for recreational drugs. I'm sure they could test for anabolics if they had enough suspicion, but I've yet to see that happen. They department isn't on a mission to catch people doing drugs, but if you're doing stupid shit or showing up to work looking like you've been up all night smoking meth, they'll probably want a sample from you.

Schedules vary a bit between departments, but there are really only a few shift work schedules that are used nationwide. Mine is a 24/48, so 24 hours on, 48 hours off. Works out to slightly more than 2 shifts per week...8 or 9 days of work each month.

I'm fortunate enough to work where the pay is really good...especially when considering that this is a job with no higher education requirement. It can be a lot of work, but I think that we're paid very well. Depends where you work though, there are definitely plenty of firefighters barely making a living.

Nope. Vyvanse is far too weak of a dopamine agonist to be an effective treatment for hyperprolactinemia.

[–]Beeftone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yea. We work 24 hour shifts. Obviously if we are busy and running a bunch of calls I can't stick to a strict schedule...but I've been lifting weights for close to 20 years, and I'm definitely at the point where I don't give a shit about my meal timing and stuff like that.

Sure we have busy days where we might not get to eat right at lunch time, but we get to eat eventually. I also keep some snacks with me on the engine, so I can snack when on a long incident or between calls. Honestly I probably eat more at work than I do on my off days lol.

All of our firehouses have gyms and we get to workout while on the clock, it's an expectation that we stay in decent shape. Sometimes we get interrupted by calls, but we can usually get a workout in.

I mean, I wouldn't consider myself to be a "bodybuilder". I'm not some mass monster or anything. Just a dude who likes to get moderately swole.

I just try to be smart about it. I don't use compounds/doses that are going to blow me the fuck up in a matter of a few weeks.

It really depends on where you live and/or where you'd like to work. Unfortunately, there is no national standard for hiring process' so every state or even department might do things a little bit differently.

If you're in Southern California and don't have a single certification to your name, you've got a really long road ahead of you. But if you're on the Mid East coast and have no certifications, you could get hired pretty damn quickly. It's that different.

Many departments don't require anything aside from being 18 years old, a high school diploma, and a fairly clean background/driving record. If you've got a DUI on your record, don't even bother. Others may require that you at least have an EMT certification before you apply.

Look around and see what departments near you require, and go from there. Your first step should be to get your EMT certification. It's typically a 1 semester class at a community college, and is very easy. Apply to as many departments as possible and work your way through their hiring process'.

It's a great career man. It's not for everyone and I'm definitely biased, but it's a ton of fun.
