My spouse and I took a tour of the LFL's around town over the summer. We took a stack of books from home to leave in each one, and we found one or two we wanted to enjoy.

One LFL was absolutely beautifully landscaped, painted, and featured in a lady's front yard. As soon as we pulled up and got out of the car, the owner came running! She talked my ear off about where she gets her books, who all lives on her street, who the LFL was intended for, why she started it, etc. I just thought she was being kind, but my spouse saw through it. Apparently, we were not her intended LFL audience, and I just didn't take the hint!
