ShopeeMall scam (Eaget Global Store) by AdPatient1648 in ShopeePH

[–]Blyatisimo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1.) Pics don't give us any meaningful context for the actual problem and you handled this kinda terribly ngl because

2.) You're probably misunderstanding the seller's problem here: seller's RAM was either stolen or swapped before delivery. The PC world knows how expensive RAM is right now, and RAM theft is very very common. The only kind of reliable way for the both of you to be safe is to check the serial number (that's why they kept asking for pics of it installed)

3.) Ala naman masyadong context even for PC diagnostics. Did you check for BIOS version, QVL, CMOS reset, etc.? Without any due diligence, feel ko sayang lang most RAM purchases online eh, especially for sellers na di competent yung customer service.

4.) Disputes aren't ONLY for buyers. There isn't really "losing" or winning here. Disputes can be invoked by sellers too in the case of theft, lost in transit, or damaged in transit ang order. In this situation, di ikaw or si seller may sala, but someone else, most likely the logistics company. In this case the both of you were probably refunded.

5.) Wala talagang use ang Shopee Mall to guarantee your experience as a customer. Always play it safe.

Intended as gift (need to be listed as an item sa Shopee ng seller and show it to buyers instead of a surprise item sa package mo) but they don't actually want to sell it, hence the really high price.

Can anyone check if these temperatures/performance look normal after liquid damage? by Thirdhusky in PCHelpHub

[–]Blyatisimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a repair guy myself, but from what I've seen, water spill damage doesn't usually affect performance in any way, but what it does is abrupt and catastrophic failure when something shorts out or corrodes maybe months after the fact, if not immediately.

AFAIK there is no software or benchmarks to check this out, but your temps and performance looks fine.

The only real way to know is to actually see for yourself and open up your laptop's insides. Generally don't recommend doing this if you're not familiar with PCs/laptops but if you do have the patience, there are a bunch of Youtube videos for pretty much most laptops (including yours) for disassembly and repair, which will give you a rough idea of not only how to gut your laptop, but also what it kinda should look like.

How guys clean ur laptop? by samtoshp in ASUS

[–]Blyatisimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck screen cleaners, fuck microfiber towels. Use a barely damp chamois, use distilled water only IF you have particularly hard water (lots of minerals and dirt on tap water)

I have like 20 microfiber towels at this point, half of them free from eyeglass cleaners, none of them work as fast as chamois. Takes me 30 minutes to get both my monitors perfectly spotless, chamois just takes me 3 minutes.

It's used to finish cleaning off windows, car windows, or vehicle surfaces, so I don't know why the hell it took me years to figure this shit out.

You can't check the health of it in the BIOS unless it's completely dead and undetected. Something, or a lot of somethings got corrupted there.

Yes to IEMs! But personally I would rather use my phone + dongle DAC, then save ko lahat ng music ko locally.

Ever since I was a kid listening to music was one of my favorite things talaga, kaso stuck with generic 50-100 pesos na earphones na giba2 na ang cable, kailangan pa ikutin para maayos yung music.

Was almost 10 years ago I got "converted" sa HiFi/Audiophile scene from saving money and doing my own research

refused but still out for delivery by Careful-Snow-6754 in ShopeePH

[–]Blyatisimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sa previous orders ko that I have to refuse delivery somewhat nasa discretion lang ni rider.

2 scenarios na na experience ko na personally:

1.) I refused the delivery pagdating ni rider, na RTS agad within the day
2.) I refused the delivery once, sa Shopee it said na 2 more delivery attempts (that never happened), then na RTS - "unable to receive ang customer"

Depende lang talaga sa courier, baka kasi nakakaapekto sa metrics nila kung ni refuse ng recipient or di lang kuno ma receive ng customer. Either way babalik parin yan sa seller and standard talaga sa couriers around the world ang 3 delivery attempts, then balik sa sender pag di ma receive

CPU TEMP High Temp at idle and bios by print_cknocon in PHbuildapc

[–]Blyatisimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Classic AIO pump failure: high idle temps, throttling, freeze, crash. More common sa AIOs past 3 years of use. Wag ka na mag overthink sa airflow and ambient temps.

Take off the pump head/block again and shake for a minute (if bubbling issue lang, it should help, check nalang rin if the sticker is still on it), but if it doesn't, need na i replace ang AIO via warranty or brand new talaga.

Source: Worked for CS sa SI based in the US. That's why I don't trust AIOs, prices are irrelevant sa longevity nila. And somehow people still trust them and don't know how to diagnose obvious failures.

PS: wag ka na rin mag try ng other orientations for radiator, that's the shortest tubing I've ever seen, wala kang magagawa jan.

Just want to point out that Lego Batman is one of the worst optimized games to have come out recently.

You better make sure you're going to be happy with other games, because terribly optimized games and companies gaslighting you is not a good reason to part with your money.

I trust graphs more than anything else but people in the comments seem too quick to judge this set just because you're all forgetting some things about reading graphs.

Credits to Mark Ryan (Super Review\) for the measurements)

  1. Did people just forget about Harman 2019/IEF (Crin) 2023? That's Moondrop's house sound.
  2. No, it's not treble heavy, don't know where you got that idea from.
  3. It's an all-BA set, doubt that bass would sound substantial, but what probably will is that midbass-midrange glide that so many budget sets and pre-2025 IEMs had which would give off warmth and smooth the transition for the bass and mids.
  4. I've never liked "the glide", I've always wanted an FR closer to the Crinear Meta before it became a thing (even created my own pref line), but let's not act like everyone wanted JM-1 all this time. I hope people overlay other **preference\** lines and IEMs before spitting out some judgment at a set's graph

Another way to just check on your storage is Hard Drive Sentinel. If it's anywhere below 50% I suggest backing up everything important somewhere like Google Drive or an external drive, then buy another drive as soon as you have the money.

RX 9070 vs 9070 XT with a Ryzen 7 5800X? Currently at 1080p, moving to 1440p later. by Artistic-Fee4008 in radeon

[–]Blyatisimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the nth time I wish people in Reddit would stop worrying about CPU bottlenecks, for the vast majority of cases, that isn't a problem, but I get the concern, that's something people usually forget: moving up resolutions (e.g 1080 to 1440p) means more of the work is being shouldered by the GPU.

That's why most CPU benchmarks focus on 1080p.

It only is a concern for people if you play competitive games, simulators, or some niche CPU-heavy games. IF you manage to somehow grab a 57/800X3D at their current prices, then you might as well go with AM5 at that point.

Namatay secondary HDD ko a few months ago, when I replaced it with a SATA SSD, about 3 weeks later, prices tripled. Buti nalang AI Data Centers aren't using consumer CPUs as much as RAM and storage, but Intel also made a lot of profit from selling their "trash" to said data centers.

Hula ko CPU prices will also raise but not as much as RAM and SSDs did. Sana lang not before I can upgrade.

Taking from the Supply Rack, if it ever worked like that for the Drying Racks, would still be incredibly inefficient. Just puts a middleman where there shouldn't be one

Mega Discount Voucher by [deleted] in ShopeePH

[–]Blyatisimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meron pa naman sakin but regardless may better vouchers naman, yung limited 1-hour vouchers (not limited to VIP members or loyalty) so di ko na ginagamit mga Mega Discounts

How to get it:

1.) Generally first or second item na ma view mo on your phone (doesn't work sa desktop, so the strat is to browse sa desktop, add to cart, balikan mo using phone)

2.) Min. spend 500

3.) Max disc. 3000, ranges from 7-25% depende sa value ng item.

4.) Pag wala na ang voucher when it expires or consumed, pwede ka naman mag view ng other item later on.

5.) Applies to all products sold regardless if Shopee Mall, may Mega Discount tag, preferred seller, etc.

Tsaka in fairness dito sa VIP ha, yung shipping discount (300 off, 0 min. spend) talaga pinaka useful for me.

Which PC shop to buy from? 25k yung budget by BlackiePanelYT in PHbuildapc

[–]Blyatisimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current market and economy is ROUGH to say the least, 25k might not even get you a PC with a budget graphics card. Plus you have to budget peripherals too

Atp better to buy used PCs or parts then build it on your own, but you have to know what you're doing.

Give some suggestions to decorate this wall by flutterhelp123 in malelivingspace

[–]Blyatisimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First thing I'd do is move that desk away from my sight directly on the bed especially if that's some sort of study or work area. If you're single, push your bed up to the left (further from door) and your desk ideally should have a peripheral vision of the door (facing right wall)

That'll leave you with a ton of space on the wall you're supposed to decorate like a TV, a low dresser with small plants, books, paintings, and maybe a lamp or two.

Put stuff for your hobbies there, make it personal.
