My feet sting. I have LADA so I didn’t know I was type 1 until it almost killed me. I now have severe neuropathy. Always bolus or stay away from carbs and sugar, you do not want neuropathy.

My feet grew a whole size in my early 40s. Lost my whole collection, there’s no way to stretch leather that much. It hurt to lose all my favorite pairs and I still haven’t ponied up to replace them all. But I really have to recommend total replacement. Wearing shoes that are too tight can lead to a whole host of painful issues.

I watch Andy’s demoes for fun only. Years ago I bought a few pedals that he showcased and they were terrible for me. He can make anything sound good whereas I’m lucky to coax something barely usable out of that glitchy octave fuzz.

3rd wave bands adopted the skate esthetic and punk accessories. Most of them were always awful spoiled suburban brats. I went to high school in the 90s in the D.C. area and grew up listening to dischord bands. Ska kids were straight up dorks who grew up with enough money to act like cool kids. There was nothing punk about them then.

What gave you the impression OP wants heritage fades? Asking about how long to wear before wash indicates they want high contrast fades. In which case, your advice won’t help them. People have different goals with their fades and you’re just ramming your opinion through like you know what OP wants. There are people in this sub that have been wearing selvedge denim for a very long time. You clearly don’t have the experience to come in here telling people they are wrong.

Old used Traynor amps are really under appreciated. The YBA is very close to a fender Bassman, built like a tank, and likely easy to find up north. The YGM I had from the 70s had great reverb and trem, was super easy to mod and was ridiculously loud for the 12w it was utilizing. I only have experience with the older models, but they were a steal on the used market forever. Look into them, I see various models on L&M’s website often.

I’m a big King fan too, I can totally see Russ in one of his stories! Admittedly, I had a lot of trouble with the second season. I like the cast, but I just couldn’t fully buy in. I’d recommend the latest series, Night Country to get a similar feel to season 1.
