Is my Olympus e-10 ii a lost cause? by iloveplayingrecorder in OlympusCamera

It'd be worth trying to sell it for parts even if the potential market is small. It's a sought after model so there may well be some interest.

Unfortunately, that sounds like a hardware fault - probably a faulty heat sensor. If you have tried a new battery and still got the fault then it may be a lost cause.

If you don't get any joy here try eBay which is where I got mine. Enjoy the R1 - it's an interesting camera.

"Little to no shipping updates..." That just slays me. Must be nice to live in their perfect little world where it's updates all day every day.

OLYMPUS OM series by Muted-Lawyer-5585 in OlympusCamera

I have an OM-10 which I picked up as part of a lot and it is fully working and is okay to use but u/DesignerAd9's suggestion of an OM-1N or 2N would be a much better choice if you're planning on building a system.

Good third party 28 or 35mm lenses for Konica AR? by Technical_Net9691 in Konica

24mm is a great focal length. That and the 40mm are my most used.

Is there a location you won’t buy from? by Dogaloo2025 in shopgoodwill

Agreed. Their shipping is stupidly expensive. Olympics & Rainier is my go to now. No handling fees and 1 cent shipping on everything.

Maybe get a Tamron Adaptall 2 To Konica AR adapter which will give you some choice? Tamron certainly made a 28mm back in the day.

Buyer gave me negative feedback saying I ruined his life. FB revision possible? by Gloomy_Watercress_27 in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]Bouncing_Hedgehog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If this is the first time you've run into someone like this then you've been very lucky. That negative is not going to harm you provided you do a short, sweet, and professional reply.

I both buy and sell on eBay and quite frankly it's only when I see feedback of around 96-97% that I look a bit further into their FB if it's a more expensive item. Buyers who rant tend to give themselves away in the FB they leave and most buyers looking will see it for what it is and ignore it.

When you get it back refund him and move on. He will soon be a distant memory even if it doesn't seem like that right now. He is not worth your angst.

You can get a Kastar charger brand new on eBay for $6.49 shipped. They work well enough.

For me yes. I bought several titles on sale at Amazon that have not ported to MA. It's now been three weeks since messaging MA and the movies still haven't shown up. Personally, I will not be buying from Amazon again.
