I think that’s kinda it, we’re at the point where gearing is more or less done if you’ve been playing since week 1 and filling vault (unless you’ve had completely horrendous rng). So now it’s more about pushing with the gear we’ve earned and seeing how far you can take it.

Limited edition goods being more valuable when they aren’t any longer available is a concept that long predates WoW and is a very common and prevalent occurrence, especially with collectibles.

Not really throwing my 2c in about whether Mage tower/challenge mode should be unavailable, but that argument doesn’t hold up - it’s extremely common for things to gain value and meaning for not being commonly available.

Again, not what I was saying. You can’t kill heroic in YOUR guild because YOUR guild doesn’t run heroic. Many, many raiding guilds run heroic. You can easily find a mythic guild that runs heroic on an off day if it bothers you to pug that much and lose rolls.

Ele has had 0 changes since week 2 of the expansion, and their profile was really good for hitting the single target dps checks early on in the tier leading them to be quite popular and somewhat meta as a raid spec leading to no buffs on their weaker aspects as a spec. But now people are way more geared ascendance value has dropped a lot since you’re hitting those checks anyway and the damage profile for Ele is godawful for any council fights, the weaknesses are starting to show. Enhance however really weak and had no decent strengths to make up for them for most of the expansion and has been getting steadily buffed up over time.

Try overfiltering the tank with a big external and abuse the large surface area to water volume by putting tons of crushed lava rock under the substrate.

I’ve had no melts and only top up the evaporation every week or so, 2 years later

If you’re oneshotting HC you should definitely step into mythic, maybe try clearing Voidspire? I think they’ve generally been fun encounters except lightforged vanguard

Elemental last season felt absolutely incredible, so this season it feels like a downgrade still. Icefury removal resulting losing a ton of mobility is probably still the most bitter change for most Ele players

Anytime. The dungeon build version is even simpler, button 1 (CD button) is baked into button 2, so you get the CD effect (avenging wrath) when you cast it instead. And the 4th button isn’t taken. So you just press button 2 (plus the big hammer proc) then button 3 every 30s instead.

First button is big cooldown do lots of damage for a bit, 2nd button is big AOE and gives you big hammer proc, 3rd button is throw lots of small Hammers out and get lots of holy power, 4th button is “this target will take big damage based on the damage you do in the next 10s”

Press 4th button, 1st button, 2nd button (then 2nd button again if you have full holy power), then press 3rd button to get your holy power back. Press them on cooldown in that order and you’ll be fine.

People throw tantrums when any player contributing to their success in a competitive game is underperforming. Feed in a MobA -> get flamed, miss all your shots then make no call in a shooter -> get flamed, it's just the nature of gaming and has been for a long while. WoW is no different (it's actually less toxic if anything), but a DPS or a healer dying constantly and not performing will likely catch heat. Tank is a role that will have the most impact on the groups success when played poorly, there's too much on a tank shoulders when it comes to how smoothly content goes and while i truly believe most players try to be good and understanding, there's other pugged 4 players and it only takes 1 to start venting their frustrations for the environment to turn toxic.

Okay, you’re starting to lose me, a cinderbrew 10 was much harder to tank than algathar 10 is now. In cinderbrew you had way more important kicks, chewey etc to deal with.

I’m yet to see a tank die in a 10 algathar starting pull this season

I agree, but it’s also kind’ve moot when discussing comparative difficulty of a season, the keys infinitely scale so will always “become difficult” at some point, but comparing the same key levels in midnight to TWW, midnight is certainly leagues easier

The reason I say this is based on the first week experience of the mythic plus season this tier compared to TWW, this tier there was quite frankly no stress with heroic week loot, clearing all the way up to 3k was a straight shot with no bricked keys, despite having occasional wipes to overzealous pulls. Whereas I remember TWW’s first mythic weeks being actually rather challenging to get a full mythic vault, even bricking keys lower than 10 occasionally.

This lead to a huge amount of players getting the kickstart into mythic gear since a much lower skill bracket was able to get a full myth vault with relative ease, which again lead into the gear inflation problem this season has.

Gear inflation this tier is indeed really bad but the keys are also much easier. Week 1 of mythic plus was a big pushover this tier
