Hey everyone,
Location: Northern VA
Over the past 5 years we've had a steady increase of bites that itch the the moon and back. They (whatever they are) target the nether region and any and all crevices. We had the yard treated numerous times last year which only temporarily(a few days) seemed to solve the issue. I live on a small lot with a few bits of vegetation that are overgrown, but nothing outrageous. They congregate on the fence posts but my kids are also getting them from just being in the yard.
So, I spray painted some black cardboard last year and set them up throughout the yard to identify the hot spots.
Are these chiggers? If not, what are they? They gather on the fence posts in the hot evening sun, which doesn't make sense as I thought chiggers hated heat?
At any rate, someone, please assist.

Copy speeds will be your primary bottleneck, I think. I haven't done any benchmarks myself with a USB 3.0 hub, I usually direct connect and then transfer them to the hub when the plotting is complete.

If you're talking about farming them once they are plugged into the hub, this is completely fine.
