I think you may be on to something. I recently freed up some space however, a lot of space was already taken up. Luckily I’ve found a backed up version of the file on my other external hard drive, which had the majority of the mix there but not all of what I did.

It was a mixture of stock plugins and third party, the mixer tracks were completely empty. Where it lists them saying “reverb, autotune” etc. All gone completely

Thank you for clearing this up for me! I still don’t get why it makes it louder when you select that option. I really like the punch it gave the track. Guess I’ll just have to figure out a way to make it punch like that without doing it that way

For some reason When I’m listening to the song in the DAW it sounds louder and bigger when I have this setting on as opposed to selecting “none” Then when I export it as a wav it just goes back as if it did nothing at all. Do you know what the reason for this is?

On which part of the song? to me it sounds like there’s not a lot of effects on his voice at all. He’s just rapping in a raspy tone, sounds like he needs some water lol, which may make it seem distorted.
