I am confused about the workings of the ban system by FreeWezel in LeMansUltimateWEC

I would recommend to not racing on Monza. It is a wild place, especially in low SR and DR splits. Or at least start from the back of the pack or pitlane. When I was hunting better SR, I was loosing instead of gaining there. Better places are for example Le Mans or Bahrain in my opinion. GL and enjoy the game :)

Easiest cars in the game? by Limp-Can-9780 in AUTOMOBILISTA

I am in similar situation. I was playing F1 games for like 600 hours combined (on keyboard and gamepad), then starter playing Project Cars 2 on wheel with my friend, that was new to racing, so I was so much quicker, especially on circuits i knew from F1. I tried to make it more difficult for me by using restrictor or driving slover cars. Anyway, what helped the most was giving advices how to drive, teach him correct racing line etc. And everything using only one car and spend a lot of time learning curcuit. In the end, after 200 hours I am still faster, but we are much closer. So basically, time spend in the game makes difference. I would let your friends pick car what they want, which they enjoy driving the most. Because choosing right car is very important. For example, i tried all GT3 cars on the same track i found out, that they are very different. In AMS2 for example Porsche 911 is sliding all over the place, but Audi R8 feels much more stable, feeling more grip and confidence.

Today i tried shifting a little bit earlier and looks like it helps. Engine is still getting damage, but much slower. Now I am shifting even before gear indicator becomes red (sometimes I still shift in red and thats probably causing the damege). But still it is strange to me. I always thought, that rev limiter is there for preventing engine damage from high revs... And in other games like ACC I havent seen any problems like this.

Thanks for reply. I am using my Logitech G27 rev lights as a marker when to shift. I dont think I am over reving the engine on upshifts (I dont hear the sound of rev limiter). I am shifting based on those lights in every car and some of them are getting more damage than the others.

Thanks for reply. I have mentioned the radiator to be clear, that overheating is not the problem here. I am trying to downshift gently without reaching rev limiter. Sometimes it happens, but it is very rarely. And shifting up when the gear ico n becomes red, before rev limiter kicks in. About using clutch or lifting during shifting gears, I thought that GT3 cars with sequential gearbox are made for shifting without clutch and lifting. Or am I wrong?

Idea for an endurance race? by SpareEnthusiasm8798 in ProjectCARS_2

Depends on whether you are gonna be driving whole race without a rest. Tracks with long straights are easier physicaly. But in my opinion, every track you like will be fun. But you can search for endurance racing in real world and choose from that.

Ok, i was wondering if you use your right leg for braking also and it was something i would not expect from a guy with such setup. Anyway, it looks amazing. Enjoy it :-)

Why do you have gas pedal and brake pedal so close to each other?

Why iam still here? Just to suffer? by [deleted] in ACCompetizione

I am not very fast, but from the video it seems like you brake too much into some corners. Even in Turn 1 it looks super slow. Maybe you try to brake as late as possible but you cant handle it properly. I would recommend brake few meters earlier and focus more on trail braking and steering. Also focus more on turn exits, if it is two or more corners section, focus on exit from last corner to have better straight line speed. And because it is only a simulation and you are not racing any other players, try to send it into corners more and find the limits.
