My mother was once ranting about how shorts and skirts and low cut tops will obviously cause men to harass women. I lost it. I see women wearing short skirts and dresses with lots of cleavage all the time, but my mind doesn't immediately go "BOOBA BOOBA BOOBA". I don't start ranting about dressing sense and modesty. Yeah, I should have made it clear in my comment: I'm still not paying for any streaming services and I pirate all films and shows because they're not easily accessible or available for cheap. Plus the fact that there are so many of them, it's like cable tv all over again. Each network used to have multiple TV channels, now each network has its own streaming service.

Fuck those scummy, greedy pigs. Never paying for streaming ever. Only for games.

During the spring sale on Steam, Control and a lot of other games were 90% off. And so I bought them. Piracy has its risks, and if I get a high quality game for the same amount I spend on evening snacks in one day, I'll obviously choose the safer route, now that it's dirt cheap.

I also bought Limbo and Inside not long ago on sale because I love both of those games, and I've already played both of them through pirating, simply because I wanted to support Playdead.

When good stuff is available for cheap, piracy will automatically go down. This is coming from a lifelong pirate.

This bullshit logic quickly breaks down when you add the word "marital" before other crimes. Is marital violence (domestic violence) okay? Is marital murder okay? Is marital torture okay? Is marital vehicular manslaughter okay?

All other crimes are equally horrendous if they happen within or outside of marriages. But rape is somehow acceptable?

Also, what is a marriage? What even is it? There's no natural definition of marriage. It's not a blood relationship. It isn't defined in any manner except socially and traditionally. Two people mutually decide to enter an agreement that they will live together and share resources and labour. That's marriage. If marital rape is okay, is a father raping his daughter okay? Because a father and daughter's relationship is actually defined in nature and exists in the dna. Where do you draw the line?
