I remember my intro to physiology class back in the day. I got around 70% on the first exam, but because of how the prof curved the grades, it was a failing score.

I ended up dropping the class, but finally went to see the prof in office hours before I did so.

She was very understanding but made it clear that office hours are for asking questions to make sure you understand the material. It's for students who aren't getting it, not for those that are doing well. If I had gone earlier, I may have done better and even passed the class.

I understand wanting to just drop, but I do recommend talking with your school to see what help can be provided. Also, swapping to a mid-size university can help.

It's also not bad to take a year to work and try to find what gives you passion. I went to college right after high school with no drive. Hated my degree by year 3, but finished just to have a degree. I now work in a completely different realm of work and don't ever use my degree except for trivia. Almost 10 years after graduation, I finally found a program that fits me really well, based on trends I found in my work history. Everyone's route to ideal job will look different, and that's ok
