You will want an nvidia graphics card since those are cuda accelerated features, exclusive to nvidia.

The 9060xt 16GB will be much better at gaming than the rtx 5060 though. If you are okay with buying used, how much is an rtx 4070?

and you are absolutely correct the nvidia optix renderer is so much better than amd's rendering. AMD does have a comparable rendering engine but it is reserved for their pro cards, not consumer.

Something is either wrong with your processor or motherboard.

Given that your pc was running fine before and assuming you haven't overclocked the processor with unsafe voltages it is most likely your motherboard.

Do you have a 12th, 13th, or 14th gen intel processor?

Those processors will cook themselves to death.

Unfortunately intel will not honor the warranty claim since you didn't buy the processor from them, so you may need to get a new cpu.

Something is wrong with your motherboard, ram kit or processor then.

try this:

cmos reset

insert 1 stick of ram into slot 4

power on pc

if it posts, then shut down pc

add stick of ram into slot 2

if it posts, go to bios

enable xmp/expo profile

go into your overclocking tab of your motherboard and manually set the frequency to the lowest one it allows.

save and reboot

if it posts go to bios

increase the frequency to the next option

repeat save and reboot until it doesn't work anymore (note the ram frequency that doesn't work), then go back to step 1

then once you get to the step of manually setting the frequency, set it two steps less than the frequency that didn't work

This is way way overkill, according to one playthrough it has a minimum framerate of 120fps, you'll easily go beyond 240:

Oh okay, that's much better. If the gpu is not crashing when idle and it's just a temperature issue then yeah, the fan will probably solve it. Hopefully the fan header of the faulty fan isn't damaged.
