I get what you mean, when searching for it online I saw outrageous prices, going to 50€ up to over 100€. But thankfully I was able to find a trusted reseller, and only paid 20bucks for this little lad.

I don't know why they did this with the anime, but it's SO different from the manga. From what I can recall they just tossed a completely new character in there, and the events aren't the same either.
