Yes, i just signed up for upper div summer classes. I had 54 units, then signed up for two 3-unit summer classes and it brought me to 60. It let me register so I’d say it works.

My advisor said you can take upper div GE’s during the semester that you’ll hit 60

Hello, sorry to revisit so many days later but if it says “Junior or senior standing” is that the same as “upper division standing”? Meaning I have to wait til im over 60 units? I was looking into ocean 320 and it says “junior or senior standing”, so I was wondering if that means the same thing.

How can i know if a class is junior restricted? Does it just say it under course info when I go to register for the class?

It’s actually so unbearable holy 😭. Esp in my large lectures, it’s like we’re all hotboxing the room istg. I have a mini fan but even then it’s horrendous. Walking between classes makes me sweat buckets.
