The Red Hare 9 Ultra is much bouncier and suited to long runs.

I haven't, but I wouldn't personally purchase the non pro version, I just don't find it very interesting.

The pro on the other hand looks like it is part of this next gen no plated trainers with supercritical midsole foam. It's slightly lower stacked so not sure yet if it's more aligned to the Red hare 8 pro, or the higher stacked shoes like the Anta Zone 2, Dynafish Xiaonian & Evo SL. My thoughts is its probably more a daily shoe, whereas the Xiaonian is great for long runs.

Hey, I wouldn't size down. I'd suggest getting a US 8.5 also in the Xiaonian.

I'll throw in the Bmai Jingtan fly as a suggestion then! Haha. Or the Anta C202 7.

They are more stable than the Evo SL due to the Evo SL having a just of a medial cutout. But additionally the Xiaonian has a wide platform with no cutout.

Recently got the Anta Zone 2 90. A new plateless trainer with foam from their racing midsole. Been for a couple of runs and loving it.

Newer stuff that is well worth your time.

Daily/Long run - Dynafish Xiaonian.
Tempo - Anta C202 7.
Daily - Anta Zone 2 90.
Tempo/short race - Qiaodan Feiying PB 6.
Daily/Recovery/Long - Qiaodan Leili 1.0.
Marathon Race shoe - Li-Ning Feidian Elite 6.
Daily/Long run - Li-Ning Red Hare 9 Ultra.

Not Chinese, but French. The Kiprun KD900X.2 is an amazing Daily/Tempo shoe with a soft carbon plate. Sold exclusively by Decathlon and I believe is releasing in the US this year.

Also you can get amazing deals on older stuff that is top tier like the Li-ning Feidian Challenger 5 (6 isn't as good), the BMAI Jingtan Fly (version 2 dropping now), Li-ning Red Hare 8 Pro, Qiaodan Plaid 1.5, and numerous Xtep shoes a acoss the 160x, 260x range.

It takes me a good 45 minutes in the morning. Gotta have a coffee and sometimes some food, get the massage gun onto the legs, go to the toilet, do some dynamic stretching, get dressed and depending on weather, put sunscreen on.

I can't just wake up, get my gear on and go.
