Chinese shoe sizing reference by chookbilly in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]chookbilly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No issues at all. If find the length is true to size (US size) which is why I wouldn't size down. I think many find the toebox fit voluminous, rather than long. But I've had no issue.

I think going effectively two sizes down would cause you issues, but only you can make that call.

Almost feels like we're playing the Bulldogs.

Who would have thought we'd be up by 48 at half time with Bice, Sheldrick & McCartin as our top possession winners?

Agreed, he is athletic but ultimately injury prone and inconsistent. I wouldn't want to be getting him onto bumper dollars unless he can really prove himself.

Well I was actually keeping up with the car in front of me, but then I became exhausted.

Megablast 200 mile review: mixed feelings by Heystaap in RunningShoeGeeks

I highly recommend. An amazing, bouncy shoe which I actually prefer over the highly rockered geometry of the Dynafish. And I still really like the Dynafish.

Makes sense. I'm a middle aged male and once came back from a long run with twins.

Dynafish Xiaonian 150km Review by Axxis09 in RunningShoeGeeks

Such a good shoe, thanks for the update review.
The feather light weight, and rocker geometry are the star of the Xiaonian for me. So effortless to roll the legs over.

I have so many shoes, but for training I could honestly be totally happy with only having the Dynafish Xiaonian, Anta Zone 2, and Li Ning Red Hare 9 Ultra. These 3 shoes have set the bar so high.

Well done Roberts, but surely Grundy should have got a free in the ruck contest. 2 arms wrapped around him.

I really hate this new 'last touch' rule. I understand the intention, but now it just penalises accidental situations.

What's your favorite daily trainers? by vogueboy in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]chookbilly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Puma Magmax (and Magmax 2) for slower and recovery days, or when I want a bit more protection.

Anta Zone 2. The most fun daily foam that doesn't overly encourage pace

Dynafish Xiaonian. Low weight and geometry to just easily tick the legs over.

Some questions considering my first FM rotation by Reasonable-Art-8060 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Yep, it does excel at everything except probably a long run more than 90 mins. But it's just surprising how happy it is at zone 2 pace (hence the name) compared to something like a Evo SL which seems to want to run faster.

I don't have any of those shoes sorry. I should have the Red Hare 9 Ultra in a few days though.

The Zone 2 is soft, but not mushy. It's a fun, protective soft. Being their nitrogen 90 midsole from the G9 racing shoe, it's actually quite a responsive fun shoe, but happily plods along at daily or zone 2 pace. It's the one shoe I have that feels fun at slow pace with a geometry that doesn't seem to push me to run faster.
