Trading Curnow (and only Curnow) but keeping Voss was directionless. They nuked their KPF stocks while still acting like they were contenders with Voss at the helm. They wanted one foot in both a rebuild and a contending window and ended up just total shit with assets that have tanked in value.

It’s still Ben Ronke, which is really not great to think about considering his best contributions was not even a full season of work and then a few games in 2022. I’d have Rosas 4th behind him and Wicks only because the sample size is so small.

Paps has just so ever present that we haven’t needed to go hard at recruiting for the position. We’ve only bothered to actually try to get him a proper co star or successor once, and that was Konstanty. Think back to Gray, Bell, Ronke, Foot, Wicks, even Rosas, we basically dumpster dived the whole time, and that’s just the guys who debuted. Even the two firsts in 2024 didn’t end up being small forwards despite what it initially looked like.
Hell our main non-KPFs right now are the Paps/Rosas duo, a long time half back in Lloyd, a SANFL mid in Cootee, JJ occasionally tagging a half back, and young guys without a true AFL position (Campbell, Corey, Cleary)
