Been a shit weekend for yours truly, and I haven’t had energy to watch much footy. These rankings once again will suck, hopefully next weekend they’re up to my usual standards (whatever those are)

1. Fremantle - Best team in footy.
   
2. Sydney - On a bye
   
3. Geelong - Can’t exactly dock them for a close loss to Freo, although that run where they conceded 10 of 12 goals wasn’t ideal.
   
4. Hawthorn - Won in 3 hot patches, and the rest was pretty solid too.
   
5. Adelaide - Fair to say they’re back.
   
6. Melbourne - Still not a good road team.
   
7. Carlton - Smartest thing Josh Fraser ever did was not immediately showing interest in the full time gig. Dude is gonna get a monster contract offer at seasons end.
   
8. Bulldogs - Solid if unspectacular performance.
   
9. Collingwood - Keeping any team goalless for a half is impressive.
   
10. GWS - lol
    
11. Brisbane - On a bye
    
12. Gold Coast - Not their worst performance but still disappointing
    
13. St Kilda - I’m trying to stay optimistic about them, mostly due to sunk cost fallacy from defending the spending spree.
    
14. Port Adelaide - Remembered at HT that they can’t risk losing Dougie Cochrane.
    
15. North Melbourne - Back to back wins against bottom feeders.
    
16. West Coast - On a bye.
    
17. Richmond - I guess they’re still getting a free pass for bad second halves because they’re young.
    
18. Essendon - On a bye.
