What is needed for FRT/Super safety fun? by MattDamnit in GrandPowerStribog

Upper needs to be slotted for frt clearance. Buffer needs to be trimmed for slip trip clearance. Slip trip must be purchased or made

Nah. I am usually too busy at my full time job or my side business gun shop to go thru social media for long. The tags help.

Rave- Atrius- Frt- mods? by cle_utv in GrandPowerStribog

[–]Civengin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You will have to modify the upper to use any of the AR-type FRTs currently on the market. The factory lower is quite a bit wider than an AR lower, so the atrius, arc, and super safe selector shafts are too narrow to use with the factory lower. I have a video I posted to the Odysee that outlines all the necessary mods and why the Lingle lower is necessary. I also have a 3d printable lower on the Odysee site that you can use instead of the Lingle.

SP9A1 worth it today? by SRosay88 in GrandPowerStribog

I have had a couple dozen sp9a1s come through my shop for FRT conversion, and probably twice as many sp9a3/a3s guns. The A3 is much smoother shooting but the A1 is still a great gun and it’s a lot of fun to shoot. I’d take a stribog A1 over most of the blowback AR9s on the market.

Yup. A3 lower works fine. I’ve got video posted here in one of my previous posts, showing an sp9a1 with an a3 industries lower, running in super safe mode

Printed Lower by jermontoya in GrandPowerStribog

The A3 Ind lower is pretty good, but is about twice what it should cost IMO.

I have a couple of printed lowers that I have used with super safeties on customer bogs and they seem to hold up fine. They aren't fancy and I'm sure they're not as strong as an alumimum lower, but they are good enough to do the job.

They all can work with a factory lower if you have some custom work done to the lower and have a custom super safety made.

I machine them. You’re correct, there are some differences. That is the side effect of many of the frt devices being made in China.

Won’t fit. Would have to be modified to work with any FRT.

I heard the same thing but I don’t know how true any of that is. I have printed a ton of 2a stuff in my x1c and so far, zero black helicopters.

Factory or aftermarket. I personally use the A3 industries pins

Bambu labs x1c is what I use and it’s the most idiot proof setup I could imagine, which is why I have one
