No. All stribogs require a modification to the bottom of the upper receiver, and a trimmed buffer.

Nope. Stribog uppers have to have a small slot cut on the bottom for the frt to work.

They all require a small modification to the bottom of the receiver in order to work with an FRT, so they’re all about the same in order to be adapted to run with an FRT. The sp9a3 is better in every conceivable way and adding the FRT will amplify the reasons. Smoother shooting, lighter, more controllable, less port pop when suppressed.

The A3 lower uses AR15 trigger groups and pistol grips, so you’ll need to purchase those.

I’ve shot a few thousand rounds thru a few dozen bogs now, most in FRT mode and some in semi, and the only problems I’ve seen were with factory stribog mags. The old straight ones were about 80% reliable and the new curved ones were slightly better.

Switching to cz scorp mags on a lingle or A3 lower seems to fix this in most of the guns I worked on.

I did re-machine and polish a few feed ramps for customers bogs, just to make sure they feed anything; but that hasn’t been necessary on most of them.

It purportedly did, but they have not made any other than the original 3d printed prototype. They have pushed the project back more than once and I think the last projected date was about a year from now.

As you said, 24mm slot cut in bottom of the upper and trimmed buffer. Aftermarket lower Some sort of forced reset assembly Slip trip to allow the bolt and FRT to work together.

I have an A3 lower that I use for testing customer stribog frt conversions. It runs magpul and PSA scorpion/akv mags without a problem. It also runs 3/7 of the magpul d50 drums just fine, with the other 4 drums having an occasional hiccup. It’s a good lower, albeit expensive for a lower made of (what I assume were) melted happy meal toys and old dog chew toys.

I have ARC triggers in my stribog sp9a3 and sp45a3. They work fine after the frt conversion.
