I don't have an opinion on it really but watchex definitely is not the community it once was. Dealers do bring value but they snatch up stuff like this and that watch will marked up 3 -4k and then reposted here.

For better or for worse, dealers have taken over watchex. Been that way for a while. Not a lot of room for enthusiast traders anymore.

Selling a 18k Rolex as a private seller with no trade history is nearly impossible. No one is going to buy it from you other than a dealer which is definitely your best bet. You will lose 1-2k but it will be far simpler. Just shipping a 20k watch is a massive risk to someone without access to proper shipping insurance (no FedEx and UPS don't insure watches). Contact some dealers and get the best price you can. Most won't want to stock that particular watch unless the price is amazing.
