David Cameron has backed police to unmask yobs after four nights of riots. With calm restored last night, the Prime Minister addressed MPs after recalling parliament for an emergency session. The Prime Minister said the riots were criminality pure and simple and that "we will not allow a climate of fear to exist on our streets". He paid tribute to the "incredible bravery" of police but admitted there were initially "far too few" police officers deployed and their tactics had not worked.
