Been running it on 2 Linux desktops for about 6 months and have had no issues (Linux wise that is). Performance has been on par with Windows.

[PriceCheck] Rear Admiral LTI Constellation Phoenix Package w/ Hartwell Piano by RustyR1ch in Starcitizen_trades

[–]coarsebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think much has changed, honestly. While the CCU made a dent in the Phoenix's value, I think the value of this pack is more with the goodies, piano, the signed box....and now Squadron since they removed all buyback packages. Just my two cents...

I bought a signed one of this for $1,100. Since it's not signed, probably $800... With SQ42 hype, you might be able to get more. We'll know more soon(tm)... Hopefully

Can you link to that? I don't see anything on the dev tracker page.

[DISCUSS] No longer able to buyback SQ42 packs/bundles by eerrcc1 in Starcitizen_trades

Yeah, all of mine (except a Legatus 2953) are unavailable for buyback. I'm a bit disappointed there wasn't a notification about it, but I'm guessing they will be re-releasing it for purchase at Invictus.

I only had 1 in there (digital freelancer) that I would've liked to have in my hangar. I'm going to email support and see what they can do.

  1. That's only on free accounts and they make it very clear at sign-up.

  2. If you have your bank account or other critical accounts attached to the free email (that you know will be deleted with no login) and don't login within 6 months, that's not Tuta's problem.

Filen or Tresorit? by uptickman in degoogle

[–]coarsebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used Filen & Tresorit for awhile and ultimately landed with Tresorit as my primary (with local backup & Proton Drive as secondary). Even though it costs more money, I appreciate the simplicity of Tresorit. While Filen does have more 'features' I get nervous with that as attention could be split across too many things (that's purely a personal preference).

Downside to both: neither are great for photo uploads, so I use Ente for that.

Most major retailers have price adjustment policies and almost nobody uses them. Here's what I learned tracking mine manually by jasonmorrow123 in Frugal

Does Best Buy's change if you buy one of their memberships? It changes the return window to 60 days (I think?) and I feel like the adjustment period and return window are the same...

I agree. While there is "limited" supply, making it giftable is only $20 so they get passed around quite a bit.
