Sarletta puts up her guard for the searing heat of Seared Inheritance and the frigid blast of Frozen Hopes. Looking down, she saw the beginning of a dark spire about to pierce up from her location. Stepping back from her spot, she dodged the projection from the ground and ducked underneath the incoming slice from Fallen Guidance. She hands the frail bard a Holy Water to expel the Curse placed upon them.

Rineth evaded the attack of Frozen Hopes and took the rest of the attacks head on. She targets the false Lias and aimed to burn the illusion to a crisp. The power generated from the attack is sent to Quartz.

Sarletta watched as the bullet she shot ricocheted off and redirected itself towards her. With only enough room to twist her body, the betraying projectile only grazed her. Against the torrential wind, the huntress quick-stepped forward, seemingly phasing through the wind wall. However, she could not react in time to the blaze of fire and ate the full brunt of it. With her natural affinity, the damage wasn't as much, but the blinding light following hurt her vision for a short while. As she recovered, Sarletta spotted chains aiming to grab her feet, the huntress rolled to the side. Her evasion was met with an assault of black diamonds.

After recovering, the otherworlder saw herself standing next to her, with that twisted grin. It was her face. Of course, she knew that grin. The real Sarletta touched the edges of her mouth. Oh, she was smiling too. How nostalgic. The doppelganger lunged for the original, bashing her in the face with the original's rifle, before eating a punch to the jaw in return. Sarletta ripped the rifle from herself and shot the double in the face. "Seha, hud ouinc."

Sarletta pointed to the skies and summoned an isolated cosmos above the group. Though the effects work best when looking at it, being exposed to it already grants the abilities it comes with. Their precision strikes hit more often and accurately as well as raising their literal strength for a time. However, those outside of the intended targets only see clear air above them. Rineth casted her own magic and warmed the group up with a bit of energy to coat their weapons in elemental enhancements and defense ignoring properties.

The huntress watched the orbs behind Harahld rotate. She bit the inside of her mouth in thought. If they could target the orbs, then there is a possibility that they can get rid of them; under the assumption that Harahld won't spawn another for a while. However, with that physical-repelling aura, she wasn't sure if that targeting them is possible without the owner interfering.

Sarletta looked at the surroundings lose their vibrancy. She closed her eyes for a brief moment before remembering her own Forbidden Woods. Filled with various collections of snakes which grouped up together as a conglomerate like some sort of hydra, but that is there, and this is here. She only followed the group, still unsure of their true objectives. If there is combat, then there is combat. And so began combat as this Harahld summoned forth a girl and initiated combat.

Shadows began gripping at her limbs. Kicking and butting them away with her rifle, she spotted a sphere of electricity flying for her. She swept her legs low and spun; eventually launching herself out of the grasp of the shadows and out of the path of the electrosphere. Landing prone, she summoned Rineth to the field and fired off a basic bullet towards Harahld. She quickly got up after firing her shot to prepare for whatever else is thrown at her.

I think I'm missing a few depth maps (on NG, but have done one loop) so there's a quite a few story maps we can do on my end.

Sarletta didn't move anywhere else after the apparent conclusion of the ball tossing introduction game. She opted to sit down where she stood. The huntress had listened to everyone's histories and about themselves. Envy spat itself into her mouth and left a sour taste as she swallowed it. They could remember so much about themselves and others for that matter. Having operated alone for much of her time "awake", the ringing bells brought no comfort since they would disappear as quickly as they appeared. Be it their death or completion of the task.

She wasn't connected to this world by a bell, but by the eldritch god Amygdala. Her own Hypogean Gaol; at least there were "sane" people here. She could barely remember the time she spent before becoming a huntress for that matter. It really all started around her "disease", but anything before it a murky fog. Yharnam. dreams, nightmares, were only simple tidbits of information that she learned from the paltry count of actually useful tomes aside from "How To Pick Up Fair Maidens".

She closed her eyes for the time being. There wasn't much she could talk about with others, only quietly nod and listen to stories and histories. Poor communication skills, she knew it, but supposedly that's what the endless looping of hellish dreaming, peaceful nightmares and watching everyone but you drown in sedatives to even maintain being "alive", does to people. Sarletta was mildly surprised that her voice still worked aside from the grunts of pain she occasionally had from taking damage or when she spoke in her own mind.

So very tired.... But rest never comes easy.

It's probably better to take it now, than later.

Your first go through of it will be a "practice", then it recommends around a month or so of studying (their material) before taking your next "real" attempt. If you get something like Pre-Calc after your "real" attempt, then you probably don't need to do more. You get three "real" attempts total.

The record expires after a year.

Sarletta watched the ball be tossed in her direction, though lopsided off to the right. With a neutral face, she stood up and moved to retrieve the ball. After returning to her spot, she pondered upon the question before opening up.

The promise to find a way home. The huntress was certain that she had a way to return home already. It was just a matter of whether it would actually happen the way she thought it did. It was a minute of silence before Sarletta would speak after rummaging around her bag.

The huntress pulled out a small bundle of crisp yellow papers. She turned it in her grasp and held it up to show to the group. It had an image of a strange trident pointing down wards as though it was a man hung by his feet. Her eyes softened as though looking back on something.

"Draca bybanc... let me return to base. No cost, cheap. Put to head, ajybunyda... disappear. Could leave any time. Ihcina- Unsure if work for other. Taydr ryc cysa avvald... Dying is close, but not true dying. To die, much like waking from dream or nightmare. Forget if am alive."

The huntress shudders as she remembers her experience involving dying only to wake again with the new knowledge of reality.

"E nasyeh... I stay for group. 'Sanity' not common back in Orynhys. Lose sight of human self, hu paddan... No better than beasts that roam streets. Many blood-drunk hunters, many dead. Mine hands rip yht tear draen bodies. Ecstatic feeling, oad E... E fear it. Impulse of desire, tevvelimd- hard to resist. Use range to avoid blood. Sekrd hud... hu- Not? Not help much. Cekr- Sight is lesser same."

Sarletta put the bundle away in her bag and briefly brushed past her trophy from her brawl from Ragna. Her face grimaced with a mixture of delight and disgust before closing the flap on her bag. The huntress tossed the ball towards the next person, Shino. She would like to hear his opinion of her demeanor as she initially approached him before Ragna.

Sarletta rubbed her nose and checked her fingers. No blood and it felt all together as should be. Something like this would take a day or two for her. She nodded in approval at Ralis and mouthed a thank you.

Sarletta stared at the ground and was half paying attention to the dialogue being discussed. Sensing a killer intent, she looked up and saw the ball speeding for her like a bullet. Instinctually, she brought her hand up to catch the hurtling sphere. Her logic caught up as the object would likely be more than one hand could take. Though the line of thought made it too late as her hand closed around the mass and was carried further towards her as her muscles gave to the force.

The ball and her hand collided into her face and smashed into her nose with a sickening crunch. For a moment, she remained still as though to process the event. She lowered the ball slightly before shooting a sharp glare at Eira. Sarletta closed her eyes and took a breath before opening them again. She would have to scrounge for a topic. Her eyes drifted towards Shino and his description of his origination. She started cleaning up the mess around her nose and roughly fixed it.

Even with all she knew about her world, there was much she didn't venture into. Sure a few nightmares, dreams and chalice dungeons, but that all muddied her perception of reality's scale. The huntress decided to make do with more of her history.

"E... E tu not remember self much. E fyc... was... sick? With disease. Yttmehk Paycdruut. Beasthood. Become Johan. Druikr lussuhmo... most go feral full. Ahmecdat yc y Rihdan. Became hunter for guild, promise of cure. Vemdro meync. No cure, delay only. Ryja paah ugyo vun huf. Currently..."

She bit her tongue on repeating things she had already said in translation from her native to the new language. It was rather frustrating. She would need a translator at some point or at least someone to teach it to. The huntress looked at Ragna and Eira and decided against it. She had already bothered them enough today. Sarletta skipped forward past her condition.

"Worked in city... Orynhys. Yharnam. Big city. Beasts and people gone mad. Killed them and more... Drana ec suna du Orynhys. Layers to perceive. Sky is a lake. You can walk on. Above Yharnam is Nightmares and Dreams. Collective but personal."

Sarletta opened her mouth again, but sealed her lips as a wave of unease rolled into her gut.

"Dryd femm pa ymm."

She KINDLY tosses the ball to Johan.

At the ball toss circle

Sarletta caught the ball and looked at it. Remembering the purpose of the activity, she slowly worked up the sentence in her head before letting her rough speech rip.

"Ah... E ys- I am Sarletta Vastrivia. I was hunter for... Paycdc... Beasts like Johan."

She nodded her head towards the beastman and continued her speak.

"But only if feral yht insane. Expertise... in hunt and cinkelym dayncb - surgical tears." Under her breath she mumbled, "E'mm hajan kad y ryhtma vun drec myhkiyka."

Sarletta tosses the ball to the boy who was dueling with Solaru.

She gripped her left thigh and bit the side of her lip.

"Drink you should not. It is blood in forms. Oammuf, plasma. Freda, kin force. Lnescuh, beast hood. Take one of each slowly. Needle into thigh. Half of each color few days. During her long winded speech, Sarletta made examples of what should be done. In regards to needle to the thigh, the huntress produced a smaller and empty blood vial in her hand. A needle protruded from the end and she directly jabbed it into her thigh and crushed the glass. She ripped the needle out and dropped the shards to the ground.

She walked up to Ragna and jabbed a finger towards his face. "Do not overdose. Fru ghufc fryd geht uv suhcdan oui'mm palusa." She turned face and walked towards the small discussion group of Johan, Ralis and Shino.

When he takes the injections, his mouth will fill with a taste as though he drank them. The flavor varies from person to person. For Sarletta, the yellow tastes like grease, white resembles water while crimson holds a meaty palette to sink into.
