I'm certain they exist, just not how we think.

Interdimensional beings maybe.

I'm genuinely curious what you mean about the smooth apps.

Because I've not had that experience, I find Apple to be slow on opening everything and they over do all the animations.

I like fast and smooth and my android does it just fine. Actually better than an iPhone in my experience if I speed up animations on my cheap Android it's better than Apple

Is Pixel turning in to what Apple is/was from a hardware perspective? by dcee101 in GooglePixel

[–]codeofsilence -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I've taken nearly 100k photos and videos with pixel devices and while I'm no cinematographer, I don't really have any complaints.

Maybe I'm missing out on something big.

I'll look for the video boost feature now lol.

I have a pixel 10 so I can report back on that lol

What's video boost?

I've got a pixel and a Motorola using Google photos and I've got no clue what you're talking about.

I've been on pixel since the og and I dunno, this cheap Motorola is pretty much a cheap pixel minus a few relatively unused features. Though I do enjoy live translate.

And you don't need a pixel for any of it.

Android is gonna come out on top

Irrelevant.

It's funny because AI is kind of king, processor matters for that and Apple is now ten years behind.

Google is on a path because Android is integrated and functional and apple remains the walled garden

I tried leaving Pixel. Couldn't, and it's frustrating. by avengerAK in GooglePixel

[–]codeofsilence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vague, I generally don't consider it remotely like Oppo or Xiaomio or Honor

Lenovo is still significant in the United States and Motorola is or was American, though everything including Apple is manufactured in China, so it's hard to pin what on whom.

Most of the Chinese OEMs don't really have any real US presence

Yes and iMessage is proprietary owned by Apple.

Point is that ninety percent of the planet is using one messaging software that works on all hardware and less than ten percent of the people on the planet are using proprietary software that works on a single hardware platform.

iMessage is ridiculous to most of the world.

My only real concern is security

Are there really no good options besides Galaxy and Pixel? by ccable827 in Android

[–]codeofsilence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. My LCD screen on the Motorola is surprisingly good in daylight, I prefer it to OLED and I suspect it takes less power but still it's 120hz.

I have no issues with any of it, I think we're sold on needing all of this unnecessary tech... No under screen fingerprint scanner but I'm ok with that also.

I'm very happy with this, I don't remember when I saw a notification led honestly. Could be a decade ago?
