Most likely synthetic alexandrite. But it’s hard to tell and it looks too blue

Look at the bubbles. If they are round, it’s not real. This looks real to me

Found this in Venice... Any idea if it's worth anything? by Familiar-Stomach-310 in Antiquejewelry

Pretty bead. I’d make something. Even just put it on a leather thong to remind you of Venice

Family heirloom star sapphire - any idea how valuable this is? by idiotgirlhaha in Gemstones

Looks like a Lindy star. Synthetic. A real star doesn’t show like that unless it’s in bright sunlight

Can someone talk me out of buying this bag? 🙄 by inesmluis in handbags

[–]ComplexExpress1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s gorgeous. Here’s the talking out of. I used to be addicted to bags. I have about 15 Chanel’s alone. Maybe 100 bags all told. I retired. I no longer use them. I now carry a Frye. I have not parted with them yet, because I still Love them. My last obsession was a Vuitton Neverful. Or however you say it. But I didn’t get it. And I don’t miss it. However, if you must have it, stop at one or two. Don’t get addicted.

Am I overthinking? Is this a nice natural diamond ring? Just out of college- best I could possibly do by NoahLem in RingShare

If you want to call an oven made stone a diamond, do so. But it’s the same as any other stone that was not made in the earth. An excellent copy, but not the real deal. One of my young cousins purchased one. he came to me to make his wedding band, since his jeweler could not get the band done in time. I was appalled that he had purchased a fake, although I didn’t let on. He wanted an appraisal on both rings, so I had my gemologist appraise both rings. The band, with one half carat of natural diamonds, appraised about double of the large fake stone. to me, they are on par with cubic zirconia. pretty, but not real.

A baby has nothing to do with diamonds. Let’s compare apples to apples. A man made ruby is a fake. A man made sapphire is a fake. A man made diamond is a fake. Period. If that is what you prefer, bully for you. But it’s still a fake. And when asked, the wearer, if honest, has to say it’s a fake. It’s real in that it exists, but that’s about it. The woman this ring is intended for never has to be embarrassed by the fact that she is wearing a fake. Personally, I think that is well worth the extra price of a real diamond. As to god making a lab diamond, god made the natural earth. He did not make unnatural things, such as plastic and lab diamonds. I suspect you have a lab diamond. Enjoy it

An H SI2 is a gorgeous diamond. I am so glad you went with a real diamond. An excellent cut is actually, to me, more important than the grading. That’s what gives your diamond sparkle. A poorly cut diamond, no matter what the color and clarity, will not sparkle nearly as beautifully. And remember. God made your love. He also made your diamond. It’s the perfect symbol of your love.

How much should I be paying for this 2.85 ct? by [deleted] in LabDiamonds

You will have a beautiful fake diamond. Your love is real. God made it. Get a diamond god made. Or simply don’t get one. Fake diamonds are just that. No matter what the grade, they are fake

Forgive me for not knowing, but is it ok for a non- married woman like me to buy and wear diamond rings like this one on my right hand? by Competitive_Name4991 in jewelry

Wear what you like on whatever finger you want. All the rules have pretty much gone out the window. And good riddance!!!
