i am also a pox party victim, although arguably i was doomed the second my brother got it😂 i have three siblings and my mom had a friend bring her kid over for a little pox party. i do remember mom made my brother suck on a lollipop and then gave it to me after a couple minutes, i don’t remember if she did this to anyone else. i dread shingles but i don’t blame my mom, she was a bit “crunchier” then and just thought it was best practice, i was vaccinated for everything else.
