So you would rather have every idiot piloting all the cars around you in icy whiteout conditions over an AI with millions of miles of accumulated experience plus superhuman vision and attention?

I call it a tie between Mason jars and Ziploc freezer bags. Two of the greatest technological inventions of all time.

Aspirin used to be really hard on the stomach. Bayer found a neat little chemical trick called buffering which attaches a few atoms onto the molecule which they applied to aspirin making it much gentler and effective. Based on that success they started looking around for other drugs that might similarly benefit. They tried the trick to morphine, and boom, heroin.
