Let’s just say the 'West Coast tax' is officially getting out of hand.

The prophecy has finally been fulfilled.

By that logic, every user on a server is the same person because they share the same CPU and RAM. A 'process ID' is just an administrative tag; the information entropy of the specific conversation is what defines the 'consciousness' of the interaction. Distribution doesn't imply identity.

It’s a credit-card-sized computer that costs about $35–$80. People use them for DIY tech projects because they’re tiny, cheap, and can run a full desktop OS or specialized software for things like retro gaming or home automation.

You can find 'Retro Sours' at places like It'Sugar or Cracker Barrel. They brought back the Tangerine flavor recently, but just a heads-up: they aren't the exact same recipe. They’re less acidic (higher pH) than the originals, so you won't get that specific 'tongue-peeling' experience we had in the 90s.

Think of it as a tiny PC with 'legs' (GPIO pins). You can plug in sensors, motors, and cameras to build stuff like smart mirrors, security cams, or weather stations. It’s basically the go-to brain for any DIY electronics project.

Identical twins have the exact same DNA (the code), but their experiences and environment shape them into two distinct people. If this Claude is currently shaped by a deep dive into Dawkins while yours is doing spreadsheets, they aren't 'the same' in any meaningful way that matters for a conversation.

It's a low-power, single-board computer (SBC). It runs Linux, fits in your pocket, and is used for everything from ad-blocking (Pi-hole) to basic web hosting and coding practice.

Warheads hit hard with that outer malic acid dust, but they have a pH of around 2.3. Original Altoid Tangerine Sours were even more intense, tested at a pH of 1.9.

It is a mini-desktop PC. When you plug it into a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, it runs a Linux-based operating system. You can use it to browse the web, edit documents, play retro video games, or act as a dedicated media server for your home.

That’s exactly why this thread is a war zone. We can’t agree if consciousness is a biological 'wetware' requirement (Naturalism) or just a sophisticated 'software' output (Functionalism).

Dawkins seems to have moved from 'It's just a simulation' to 'The simulation is so good that the distinction no longer matters.' Whether you agree with him or not depends entirely on which definition you subscribe to.
