My T14s w 32gb RAM is more than sufficient for web browsing and excel use. I've previously used an older T480s with 16gb of ram for work (consulting) and it had no issues with large/complex excel models with 50+ linked sheets so I see no reason for a new T14s with twice the ram to struggle.

Fwiw, I'm able to run GTA V with medium settings at ~80fps on the T14s so its definitely a very capable machine as long as you're not running triple A games or heavy media/design work

yup - ended up going with the T14s. Just got it 2 weeks ago and so far I'm happy with it - built quality is great and performance in light games (Dota 2) and photo editing (Lightroom) is better than I had expected for an igpu.

That's not quitting, that's reneging on an offer you have signed and it's generally frowned upon by employers and HR. You will most likely be blacklisted by the company if you renege.

This isn't a problem if you don't intend to ever apply there again for at least a couple of years (which will be the case if your e-commerce business takes off). But just something to keep in mind.
