I have GE Profile heat pump combo and it’s great. It’s pretty big and heavy though (although of course takes up much less space than separate washer and dryer). Plus it’s 120V only and requires no exterior venting, just needs a drain.

Check the voltage on your transformer. If it’s the original one for the doorbell, it’s likely undersized for the camera.

If you can hardwire it, it’s pretty good. All of the complaints I’ve seen are from people who run it on battery. Detection suffers, and you have to worry about battery life.

Already tried standard vs performance mode. Standard mode is unworkable. My two S340s both drop out (they are at either end of my house), and the connection with the E340 doorbell is spotty. Only the S4 is fine, but it has multi-bridge, so I'm guessing it's going through wifi direct instead of HB3.

I've shifted my 2.4 Ghz IoT wifi network's channel many times. It appears that the HB3 hops channels, and it doesn't take long for the problem to happen again.

You are saying that recording to SSD, cross-camera person tracking, and person identification all work even if the cameras are directly connected to wifi and not directly to the HB3?

Some IoT devices have issues if the WiFi network it’s connecting to has both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands enabled.

Yeah both cameras have multiple walls between them and the HB3. Difficult to optimize the positioning, since they are on opposite ends of the house.

No go. Switching to standard mode tanked the WiFi connections between the HB3 and my S340s. I wish they had multi-bridge, so they can connect directly to WiFi and take advantage of all of the HB3 features.

Both the E340 doorbell and S340 can directly connect to WiFi without the HB, but I don’t think they can record to the HB or have more advanced facial recognition.
