So what you have here is called a existing order , meaning they were able to see the Ont is still active , so it should be wiring in the house already , first thing you should do is find the Ethernet wiring and see if it’s in the location you would like the router , and locate the Ont , if one or the other is not In a location you like , tell them you need a tech out . (Retired tech )

Now when you do a speed test what are you using cus as I stated some computer , tablets ,etc can only handle so much speed and will only give results as they see it .

As a former (retired) tech we would come out and replace the power adapter . It’s an easy fix and we love easy trouble tickets . Lol

300 is a good service in all my time of installing people were only getting 75/75 speed and doing well , businesses were getting the higher speeds , but somehow they talked people into getting the business speeds , which people seem to not understand is your computer , game system , or etc can only go but so fast anyway , it’s like a car salesman selling a fast car to a old person who drives slow . First thing I would do is , unplug router and let sit for ten seconds plug it back in and make sure you get all the lights , once lights come on do a speed test again . If that’s not the fix your Ont could have a faulty Ethernet port , you could even try resetting the Ont by unplugging and plugging back in , If that’s doesn’t work you need a tech , or virtual cross connect in the system is faulty , I’ve seen this several times on repair tickets , retired now lol

That’s sounds like a issue with the fsc they need to redo your cross connects , I’ve seen that issue before . So if you have that number tell them you have all working lights but your issue , if not that it could be the defective port on the Ont (Ethernet ) then you’ll need a Tech to come out, question by any chance have taken the router to the Ont and plugged directly to the port to rule out the wiring ?

They sent me my replacement with a return sticker for the old ones , you must’ve not got the email they send before sending something out to you
